WORKSHOP: Indigo Dyeing at The Knitting Bee

First you’ll learn to make an indigo dye vat using natural materials to produce a quick-acting, reliable, and long-lasting blue. Then we’ll explore different techniques for dyeing yarn. We’ll work outside under a shade tent, so please dress for the weather and bring lunch. Dye, equipment and two 100g skeins yarn included in materials fee. Students may bring additional yarn, see materials list for details. Cost: $45.00 per session + $20.00 materials fee.
